This Privacy Policy describes how Quence Inc. ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and discloses information through the Memno application and related services (collectively, the "Services").

User Content: We collect and store content you provide through the Services, including:
Documents, photographs, and other files you upload
Audio recordings and their transcriptions

Email messages sent to our designated email addresses (e.g., when you CC assistant@memno.ai)
Communications: We collect information when you contact us for support or other inquiries.
1.2 Information Collected from Your Device
Subject to your consent and explicit permission, we may collect:
Location Information: We access location data from your device to provide location-aware features and services.
Calendar Information: We access calendar data to provide scheduling assistance and meeting management features.
Contact Information: We access your contacts to facilitate communication features within the Services.
1.3 Information Collected Automatically
Usage Data: We automatically collect information about your interaction with the Services, including features used, actions taken, and time spent.
Device Information: We collect device-specific information, including device type, operating system version, unique device identifiers, and mobile network information.
Log Data: Our servers automatically record information including IP address, browser type, referring/exit pages, and timestamps.
2. How We Use Information

Provide, maintain, and improve the Services

3.1 Service Providers
We engage third-party companies and individuals to facilitate our Services, including:
Infrastructure Providers: Cloudflare, Inc. for cloud computing services
Payment Processors: Stripe, Inc. for payment processing
Authentication Services: Clerk, Inc. for user authentication
AI Processing Services: We utilize multiple AI service providers including OpenAI, LLC, Google Cloud Platform, Anthropic, PBC, and Cloudflare, Inc. We endeavor to distribute processing requests across multiple providers based on operational requirements and service availability.
3.2 User-Directed Sharing
We share information when you explicitly instruct us to do so, such as when using the Services to make phone calls or send messages on your behalf.
3.3 Legal Requirements
We may disclose information if we believe disclosure is in accordance with, or required by, any applicable law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request.
3.4 Business Transfers
In connection with any merger, sale of company assets, financing, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business, information may be transferred to the relevant third party.
4. Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include:

However, no method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
5. Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account remains active or as needed to provide you the Services. Following account termination, we will delete your personal information within thirty (30) days, except as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements. Backup systems may retain deleted data for up to ninety (90) days.

You may access, update, or request deletion of your personal information through your account settings or by contacting us at privacy@memno.ai.
6.2 Communication Preferences
You may opt out of receiving promotional communications from us by following the unsubscribe instructions in those messages or by contacting us.

You may revoke permissions granted to the Services (such as access to location, calendar, or contacts) through your device settings.
7. California Privacy Rights
California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including:
The right to know what personal information we collect, use, disclose, and sell
The right to request deletion of personal information
The right to opt-out of the sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information)

8. Children's Privacy
The Services are not directed to individuals under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located outside of your state, province, country, or other governmental jurisdiction where data protection laws may differ. Your consent to this Privacy Policy followed by your submission of information represents your agreement to such transfers.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date" above. We will provide notice of material changes through the Services or by other means.
