Today we're introducing Memno, the next step in our mission to build the future of human-AI interaction.
We started with Prompteus, our developer platform that gives builders the infrastructure to create secure, reliable AI applications. Now we're applying those same principles to solve a problem we all face: AI that knows us personally without compromising our privacy.
Most AI assistants face a fundamental dilemma. Either they lack the context they need to truly help you, or they have so much mixed context that they start hallucinating connections that don't exist.
The problem isn't that AI isn't smart enough. The problem is getting the balance right.
Your work is full of context. The contract you reviewed last month connects to the meeting you're having today. The voice memo from your morning walk contains the insight that solves the problem you're stuck on this afternoon. The photo you took of a whiteboard six weeks ago has the framework you need for tomorrow's presentation.
Yet, none of your tools talk to each other. Your photos live in one app, your documents in another, your voice notes somewhere else entirely. You become a human router, constantly translating between systems that should understand each other.
Memory as Infrastructure
We built Memno around a simple premise: intelligence without memory is just expensive pattern matching.
Real intelligence that actually helps you requires continuity. It needs to know what happened before, what you care about, what you're working toward. It needs to remember that when you mentioned "the Johnson proposal" three months ago, you were referring to the 47-page document you uploaded, not some random web result.
Ask Memno "What did we decide about the Q4 budget?" and it pulls from your uploaded documents, strategy session notes, and recorded conversations with your CFO. It gives you an answer that's actually useful because it has the full picture.
This isn't about creating another database. It's about creating a system that thinks the way you do: in connections, context, and accumulated understanding.
Your Personal Intelligence System
You interact with Memno just like working with an exceptional assistant who has perfect memory and unlimited availability.
Upload documents through the app or share files directly from other apps. Take photos using Memno's camera button that's always accessible from your iPhone's lock screen. Record thoughts during walks and capture ideas on the go. Everything gets processed, understood, and connected to what you've shared before.
Because it lives on your iPhone, and soon on your Mac, it has context other systems can't access. It knows where you are, what's on your calendar, who you need to reach. Running late to a meeting? Ask it to text the other attendees and reschedule your next call. Need to find that contact from the conference last month? It remembers both the business card you photographed and the follow-up notes you recorded.
CC Memno on email threads and it becomes part of the conversation, answering questions with full context of your business and priorities. Need to make calls? It can handle restaurant reservations, appointment scheduling, or prescription refills while you focus on bigger things.
Human-in-the-Loop as the New Default
We believe the future of AI agents isn't full automation. It's human-in-the-loop workflows where AI handles the tedious work and humans provide executive oversight.
Memno Missions are our first example of this philosophy. When you ask Memno to call your dentist to reschedule an appointment, it doesn't just dial and start making decisions. It prepares for the call, makes it happen, then comes back to you with options or confirmation. You stay in control of the important decisions while eliminating the friction of routine tasks.
This is the pattern we think will define the next generation of AI tools: systems that amplify human judgment rather than replace it. The AI does the boring work. You focus on the executive function—approving, directing, deciding.
Memno is designed as a foundational layer for these workflows. Missions with approvals are just the beginning. We're building toward a future where AI handles increasingly complex tasks while keeping humans firmly in the driver's seat.
Privacy by Architecture
Here's what's different about our approach to privacy: every user exists in their own isolated, encrypted environment. Your data never mingles with anyone else's. When you sign up for Memno, we create a separate set of databases and file storage spaces that are dedicated to you. This also allows Memno to be extremely fast: when you’re asking Memno something, it only browses your dataset, on a server close to you.
No AI model is trained on your data. We designed the Memno Request Engine so your data is processed across different AI providers and models, and no single provider can access your full documents, conversations, or knowledge base.
Additionally, when Memno makes a phone call or answers an email, it operates in a separate container with only the specific information needed for that task. It’s virtually impossible for Memno to leak information externally.
This architecture stands on top of what we built with Prompteus. Privacy and security aren't features you bolt on later—they're the foundation everything else is built on.
The Compound Effect of Context
Most productivity tools give you linear improvements. Memno creates compound returns.
The more you store in Memno, the better it gets at connecting information across your work and life. Over time, your personal knowledge base becomes incredibly powerful. Instead of hunting through files and trying to remember where you stored something, you just ask Memno and get answers that pull from everything you've ever shared with it.
This is what personal AI should be: not a chatbot that pretends to know you, but a system that actually understands your world and helps you navigate it more effectively.
The future of human-AI interaction isn't about better prompts, unlimited contexts, or faster responses. It's about building systems that grow with you, remember what matters, and make you more capable over time.
Memno represents our vision made personal. Built on the same secure foundation as Prompteus, but designed for everyone who wants AI that actually knows them.
It’s your second brain, finally working the way your first one does: through memory, connection, and continuous understanding.
We really think you’ll love it.
